Our story
LexSnap was originally conceived as a consumer tool to access legal expertise. We believe everyone who needs legal support should have access to justice, specifically clear information to better understand what their problem requires.
However, since the 2012 Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act, hundreds of thousands of people are ineligible for legal aid.
Our solution was to create simple, jargon-free information, using Artificial Intelligence and our team’s wealth of experience, including some of the UK’s best solicitors. More information is available at our sister website.
In 2018 we recognised our tech was equally well suited to helping legal professionals alleviate high volume, repetitive tasks in handling their data.
The market for legal tech develops at pace but our tool remains focused on search and is extremely easy to implement and use.
We believe this sharp focus gives LexSnap its purpose as a plug and play due dilligence tool that will fit effortlessly with multiple document management systems and varied workflows.

Dr Tetiana Bersheda
Founder and CEO
Tetiana is an internationally recognized legal practitioner as an international dispute resolution attorney at the Swiss Bar and former lecturer at the University of Geneva. She is passionate about innovative solutions to problems facing the legal market. Her practice has focused on the resolution of complex international disputes, and she has published extensively in Swiss and European legal journals. Tetiana received her Ph.D. (summa cum laude) in law from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, and her LL.M. from the University of Cambridge.
Professor Danushka Bollegala
AI Architect
Danushka is a Professor at the University of Liverpool’s Department of Computer Science, where he also leads the Data Mining and Machine Learning (DMML) Research Group and the Natural Language Processing Group. Danushka’s research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed research papers and has experience of working on industrial collaborations in the form of start-ups, knowledge transfer partnerships and consultancies.
